The Jaffrey Firefighters Company, Inc. proudly presents the 1st Annual Jaffrey Fire Department 5K Race.Saturday September 11, 2010 5k Run/Walk mixed cross country terrain including hard pack trails, wooded terrain, mild hills, Possibly some mud, mostly wide trail. Timed event results to be posted after the race. All proceeds from the 5K race benefit the Jaffrey Firefighters Company Inc. a fundraising and support organization for the Jaffrey NH Fire Department. The Jaffrey Firefighters Company, Inc is a volunteer organization made up of the firefighters, their families and members of the community who give their time in support of the Fire Department. This allows the Fire Department to acquire items that cannot be purchased within the town budget. The Jaffrey Fire Department is made up of a full-time Fire Chief and 25 on-call members serving the town of Jaffrey, NH. They provide fire prevention, suppression, rescue, EMS, public service and education.
