In Honor of Lawrence “Larry” Harris

March 23, 1937 – August 06, 2026

The Town of Rindge respectfully announces the funeral services for Lawrence “Larry” Harris, a longtime and deeply respected member of the Rindge community.

Larry dedicated more than 50 years of service to the communities of Rindge and Jaffrey as an Animal Control Officer and served 20 years as a Town Constable. Throughout his many years of service, Larry was known for his unwavering commitment to helping others. Whether responding to accidents and traffic incidents, assisting residents with home repairs, shoveling driveways, plowing roads, or simply lending a helping hand, Larry was always willing to serve his neighbors and community.

His dedication and service were formally recognized by the Town of Rindge in 2024, when he was awarded the honorary lifetime title of Animal Control Officer.

Larry's impact extended far beyond his official duties. He was a loyal, hardworking, generous, and caring community member whose willingness to help others became a defining part of his life. His legacy of service will continue to be remembered by the many residents, public safety personnel, friends, and neighbors whose lives he touched.

Set up at 10:00 AM with a 11:00 AM sharp — Walk-Through – with light food and drinks provided

Funeral services will be held directly following the walk-through at the Cathedral of the Pines.

Police & Fire Department Participation: Any police or fire department wishing to participate in the services, procession, or honor guard is asked to contact the Rindge Fire Fighters Association Secretary:

Larry Harris devoted much of his life to serving others and his community. As we gather to honor his life, we invite the public safety community and the residents of Rindge and surrounding communities to come together and pay tribute to a man whose service left a lasting mark on the people he served.

Rest well, Larry. Your service to Rindge and its people will not be forgotten.
