FIREFIGHTER FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The West Dover Fire Department regrets to announce the passing of retired firefighter Patrick E. Mulhall. There will be no calling hours. The funeral service will be held tomorrow, August 23 at 1100 at St. Michael’s Church in Brattleboro. There will be a gathering following the service at the Quality Inn on Route 5 in Brattleboro. Personnel are requested to meet at St. Michael’s Church at 1030 in full dress uniform if available. Any West Dover personnel please contact 93C1 @ 802-380-7731.

ON THIS DATE IN HISTORY

17 years ago today on August 22, 1996 - PAC (Precision Assembly Company), today known as Whelen Engineering Fire in Charlestown. Large commercial building fire on a very hot and humid day. Dispatchers on duty were Paul Szoc, Walt Kesek and Neal Collier. The three dispatchers are now all retired.
