A VERY NICE COMPLIMENT WE RECEIVED

Comment about our dispatchers that was posted on Facebook by Greg StoughtonListening to our wonderfully talented dispatchers from Fire Mutual Aid handling a hazardous materials incident for Newbrook Fire, and cannot get over the detail and precision they give to their job. They are talking to chemical companies and relaying information to the incident commander, while earlier helping units avoid what was potentially a malicious situation. These men and women constantly do so much for us firefighters, as well as medical providers, and even the 911 callers, and go unrecognized frequently. They don't just tell us where to go, they tell us if we are going into a crime scene, if they are getting conflicting reports, and have to calm callers down to get information and keep them calm until we arrive. So, I would like to send out a huge "Thank you!" to our dispatch center over in Keene, NH, we couldn't do it without you!
