ON THIS DATE IN HISTORY - 13 years ago today on April 9, 2001 - Train derailment sending cars into the Ct. River at the end of Grout Ave. in Westminster. Dispatchers on duty were David Whipple and Ed Mattson.

NH TELECOMMUNICATOR OF THE YEAR

Last night at the NH Emergency Dispatchers awards banquet, Dan Redin, a NH 911 operator was awarded the NH Telecommunicator of the Year award. Dan helped save a Dublin man's life late last year giving pre-arrival instructions over the phone. Pictured is Dan and 911 Director Cheney. The author of this post, Dan's uncle, Tom Redin (Dispatcher 2) is very proud of him!
