KEENE AND AREA DEPARTMENTS BUSY BATTLING 2 MULTI ALARM FIRES WITHIN 9 HOURS
There was a 2nd alarm garage fire with exposure at 854 Marlboro Rd (Rte 101) in Keene last night. The 1st alarm was transmitted at 22:10. Heavy fire showing from the garage. A 2nd alarm was ordered by 19 Car 3 at 22:19. Operating at the scene was Keene, Diluzio Ambulance, Marlborough, Sullivan, Swanzey, RIT Engine from Brattleboro. Westmoreland and Chesterfield sent additional tankers to the scene. Swanzey, Troy, Harrisville, Walpole Heavy Rescue covered Keene Central Station. Spofford covered Keene Station 2. The fire is under investigation.
At 6:17 this morning the dispatch center took a call for a house on fire at 50 Grove St. 3 Alarms were needed to control this fire.
