The 2011 New Hampshire Fire Explorer Training Academy application process hasstarted. I would like to make you aware of the application posting and ask that you forward this information to any and all interested parties such as your Exploring Advisors, junior firefighting leaders and current youth interested in firefighting, EMS or rescue operations.

RETIRED NELSON FIRE CHIEF PASSES AWAY

It is with deep regret that the Nelson Fire Dept. announces the passing of retired Fire Chief Ray Huber. He was a 62 year member of the department and was Chief for 15 of those years. Calling hours will be held Thursday June 2 from 1700-1900 hours at Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court St. in Keene,NH

TROY FIRE DEPARTMENT IS HOSTING A WILDLAND 1 CLASS

Dates: June 4,5 and 12.Location: Meadowood Assembly Hall Time: 0800 to 1700 Cost: 125.00 per student. CREF # - 11-3-WFI-56 A general state application needs to be filled out and sent to NH Division of Fire Standards and Training. Fax # 603-271-1091. Checks will be made out to the Troy Fire Department Association and mailed to PO Box 659 Troy, NH 03465. All applications must be received by 1600 on May 18, 2011.
