CLAREMONT FIRE DEPARTMENT 123rd Annual Fire Prevention Parade:

The parade will be held rain or shine on Friday evening October 9, 2009. Lineup will be held at the Claremont Middle School on South Street. The parade will begin promptly at 6:30hrs.

BELLOWS FALLS BELLOWS FALLS VT ANNUAL FIRE PREVENTION PARADE will be Sunday 11,2009.Line up will be at the BFFD station on Rockingham St. Parade starts at 1300HRS.

FIFEFIGHTER MEMORIAL SERVICE

The Lempster Community Church will be holding a firefighter memorial on October 11th at 9:00a.m. The service will be held at the Lempster Community Church on Rte 10, Lempster, New Hampshire. If possible please bring a helmet for the altar and a piece of apparatus.

There will be snacks after the service,if possible please bring something to share.

CLAREMONT FIRE DEPARTMENT ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The annual fire prevention golf tournament will be held on Wednesday October 7, 2009 at Claremont Country Club. Shotgun start at 10:00 am, scramble format. Individuals or teams: $20 for members, $40 for non-members. Prices include greens fees, prizes and food, which will be available all day. Carts not included, limited number; first-come, first-served. Sign up at the Claremont Fire Station or call (603) 542-5156

ANTRIM RUNS TT MVA

On August 14th @ 01:12am the Antrim Fire & Ambulance was dispatched to a reported Tractor Trailer Rollover @ the intersections of NH Rt 9 & Rt 31. First arriving units found a TT unit on its side, with 1 patient heavily entrapped. Mutual Aid From Hillsboro & Bennington was requested including an additional heavy rescue from Hillsboro and a cover engine from Bennington. Total extrication time was approx 1 hour. The driver was transported to Concord Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. He was eventually released with minor injuries. All Antrim units were clear of the scene @ 12:30pm, while Specialty clean crews remained on scene well into the evening. All photos by Matt Robblee IMG_0259
