The annual meeting of the Southwestern New Hampshire District Fire Mutual Aid system will be held April 20th at the Best Western Hotel on Winchester Street in Keene, NH. A display of apparatus will be held at 1730. Guest speaker, Boston Fire Commissioner Joseph Finn will do a presentation on the 2014 Beacon Street 9 alarm fire where 2 Boston firefighters died in the line of duty. The presentation will start at 1830. The annual business meeting will start promptly at 1930. Light refreshments will be available.Please try to attend this worthwhile presentation and our annual meeting. All personnel are invited, not just fire chiefs and fire officers.

5 years ago today on April 17, 2011 - Brooks House fire on Main St. Brattleboro. Multiple towns responded mutual aid to battle this fire. Dispatchers on duty were Lt. Kevin Kennedy, Virginia Gilman and Brian Johnson. 21 years ago today on April 17, 1995 - Pac Rat fire on Peterborough St. in Jaffrey. Dispatchers on duty were Joe Sangermano and Tom Redin.
