International Water/Swiftwater Rescue Train-the-Trainer Academy

The 6th Annual International Water/Swiftwater Rescue Train-the-Trainer Academy will be conducted May 19 - 22 in Keene, NH. The purpose of this Academy is to train and authorize select representatives of Public Safety and Rescue agencies as Water and Swiftwater Rescue Instructors. Upon successful completion of the Academy, graduates are authorized to conduct Water Rescue Awareness, Operations, and Technician level courses, as well as Swiftwater Rescue Technician courses on behalf of their own departments.

The Academy will be hosted by the new Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Keene. Tuition includes lodging and meals from Thursday through Sunday.

The Academy kicks off on Thursday evening at 7 PM. The schedule for classes is as follows:

Thursday 19:00 - 22:00 hrs. Classroom

Friday 08:00 - 12:00 hrs. Classroom 13:00 - 17:00 hrs. Pool Session 19:00 - 20:30 hrs. River Session 21:00 - 22:00 hrs. Classroom

Saturday 08:00 - 11:30 hrs. Pool Session 13:00 - 17:00 hrs. Pool Session 19:00 - 22:00 hrs. Classroom

Sunday 08:00 - 11:00 hrs. River Session 13:00 - 15:30 hrs. Classroom
