It is with deep regret the City of Keene Fire Department announces the passing of Captain Armand Jacques- Retired Steamer Company. Captain Jacques served the City of Keene for 31 years and retired as Captain of the Steamer Company on January 1, 1988.

A Full Fire Department Funeral will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church located on Arch Street in Keene. Mass will start at 1000 hours.

All Fire Department personnel are requested to be at the Keene Fire Department Central Station for 0900 hours in Class “A” uniform.

The calling hours will be held Friday April 29, 2011 from 1800- 2000 hours at the Foley Funeral Home located at 49 Court Street Keene.

All Fire Department personnel attending the calling hours are asked to meet at the Central Fire Station at 1800 hours in Class “A” uniform.

There will be no burial following mass.
