The Greenfield Volunteer Fire Department 21st Annual Firefighters Weekend & Muster

Are you ready for another Firefighters weekend? We hope so; it’s that time again to plan to attend our 21st Annual Firefighters weekend on July 31 and August 1st. We will be awaiting your arrival anytime after 3-pm Saturday at Oak Park.
Please plan to pack your tent because our weekend will start on Saturday afternoon when we will be awaiting your arrival anytime after 3-pm. There will be horse shoes & volleyball available. We will also have a bon fire where we can gather for an evening of social fun. If the weather is not permitting we will gather under the pavilion. Sunday afternoon we will have the grill fired up with hot dogs, hamburgers & ice cold soda at the concession stand.
Sunday’s events will begin with the Parade at 11-am. Line-up is at 10-am for parade participants at the corner of East and Forest Road (Rte. 31). Parade route is from East Road intersection to the Greenfield Fire Station where parade participants will continue to Oak Park. Once there judges will award trophies for the following categories: Farthest travelled, Newest in service, Oldest in service, and Judges Choice. Then at 12:30pm the muster team captains will meet, followed by the muster events beginning at 1pm. This year’s events will once again consist of the Dry Hose, Wet Hose, Bucket Brigade the refreshing Water Polo and a Mystery Event.
Spread the word to your family and friends and come for a day of fun & excitement. Hope to see you all there.
Sincerely, the Greenfield Fire Dept.
