Fire Mutual Aid Dispatchers and Keene Firefighters collected enough funds for 400 coats to be distributed to area children as part of Operation Warm, a national program. Area school officials are pictured picking up the coats for distribution.

RETIRED KEENE DEPUTY CHIEF PASSES AWAY

It is with deep regret the Keene FD Chief of the Department announces the death of Retired Deputy Fire Chief Frederick Beauchesne.

Deputy Beauchesne served the City of Keene for 31 years starting in 1952 and retiring on Jan. 30, 1983.

Our condolences go out to his wife Sally and the entire Beauchesne Family.
