The Meadowood County Area Fire Department recently purchased and put into service the former Keene Fire Department’s Rescue truck. The 1993 Freightliner replaces the 1981 Mack Rescue. The members of the department spent many hours transferring the equipment and on February 16, 2010 placed the unit in service. The new unit will perform all the functions the old one did.Photo by Melanie Ellis.
