On 10/21/2009 at 16:19 hours, the first of three alarms was toned for this building fire at 67 Mountainview Road. A total of 12 towns fought the blaze.All photos provided by Townshend Fire Dept.

Single vehicle over the embankment into the brook on East-West Rd. There were several patients, entrapment, leaking fluids, and a technical rescue. The road was closed for several hours. Received assistance from Brattleboro Fire, Dummerston Highway, Rescue Inc, and the Vermont State Police.
