JAMAICA VOL FIRE & RESCUE RECEIVES A GRANT

Jamaica Fire and Rescue Department is pleased to announce that it has been selected to receive a matching grant from the Stratton Foundation for upgrade of its’ base radio and station antenna.

Thanks to the generosity of the Stratton foundation the Jamaica station will have a base radio system that will be compatible when the federally mandated switch to narrow band takes place. Information about the Stratton Foundation can be found at www.strattonfoundation.org.
