Greenfield Parade and Muster

Thursday, July 5th, 2007

The 2007 Fire Muster season has arrived. Although the number of towns hosting musters has dwindled down to just a few, The Greenfield NH Fire Department would like to keep this old tradition alive by inviting you to our 18th Firemen’s Muster and Annual Parade being held on Sunday July 15, 2007. Bring your FIRE, EMS apparatus and muster teams. As always we are extending an invitation to any and all antique fire apparatus and automobiles. Line-up for the parade is 10:00 am at the corner of Forest (AKA Rte. 31) and East Road which is just South of downtown. The parade will start at 11:00 am and proceed down main St. to fire department. Apparatus and floats will continue to Oak Park for judging and trophy presentations. The FIREMEN’S MUSTER will start at 12:30 pm.

We are having a bonfire and camping out the night before at Oak Park. All teams are welcomed to join us and camp for free, or if you wish to camp at your own expense, you can stay at the state park, (across the street) please reserve your sites early.

Departments without teams are also invited to come and participate by assembling mutual aid teams.

If you or your town plans to participate or need directions, please call: Greenfield Fire Dept. 547-3501 or Jim Plourde 603-620-8598 and leave a message.
