The Grafton / Sullivan County Forest Fire Wardens Dinner and Meeting will be held June 20 at 19:00 hours at the Meridan NH Fire Station on Rt 120.

On May 31,2007 the Newbrook Fire/Rescue along with Brattleboro,Rescue Inc,Dummerston,Springfield,Wardsboro,Williamsville,Keene and Vt State Haz-Mat teams responded.

The Surry Fire Department will be holding an open house to present their new 2007 KME pumper/tanker to the residents of Surry and members of the mutual aid system on Saturday June 9 from 9am to 3pm with a raindate of Sunday June 10th.

Other items planned are exhibition of SWNHFMA Fire Prevention Trailer, tours of the fire station and grounds, demonstration of Thermal Imaging Camera, and limited distribution of some smoke detectors.
